Atharva Salgaocar is an 11th-grade student at the Sharada Mandir School in Goa, where he studies Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. He has developed a strong interest in combining analytical thinking with real-world application.
He is an active member of his schools debat club, through which he has developed argumentation and research skills, and was also selected to take part in the Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN). He was also selected to be sports prefect and was allowed responsibility to manage and organise sports events, teams, and maintain discipline.
Atharva is also focused on creating a long-lasting impact for all. By founding the initiative Groundkeepers, he worked to improve soil health and support sustainable agriculture in India through real grassroots research, fundraising, and direct intervention.
